I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology between 2015 – 2018, specialising in Microbiology and Virology. After graduating I joined the Army in 2018. I trained as an Army Officer attending the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. I served for 5 years as a Royal Army Medical Corps Officer, providing medical care on exercises and operations around the world. I left to find a long-term career in 2023. I completed my postgraduate Master of Laws degree between 2023 – 2024. Law came to interest me as I often had to attend court with some of my soldiers, providing pastoral care and advising to the court on their role. I often talked with the solicitors while I was there and realised it was something I could do myself.

I support Manchester United and enjoy playing football or going running. I am an adrenaline junkie, and my favourite sports are those on the snow and ice. I have competed in Skiing and Skeleton at international events. I am an enthusiastic, yet talentless sous chef to my partner and love cooking new dishes.

What made you want to work for Forrest Williams?

I believe that everyone deserves someone on their side, no matter their circumstances. There are two sides to every story. Both of my parents were Police Officers their whole careers and through them I have always understood the complexity and emotion that is present in every criminal case.

What do you love most about your job?

I love the end of a case – the call to a client to tell them their matter has been dropped, or the call from a barrister telling us they were successful in court. We do everything we can for clients and it’s often only at the end we can sit back and appreciate the journey.
